Our most luxurious, original signature candle that started it all. The only true seasonal single origin, EVOO candle on the market. We source the best possible olive oil; a robust, full-bodied first press EVOO with average level of biophenols of 400 plus. This results in a bold scent with a balanced bitterness, acidity and a peppery finish. Combined with Zataar -the beloved middle eastern herb mixture of thyme, oregano, sumac and sesame seeds often paired with olive oil- this candle will transport you to the Mediterranean and the Levant with sun-filled days by the olive mill.

Notes of Thyme, Oregano, Sage, Marjoram, Sumac, & Sesame Seed intermingled in single origin, extra virgin, first press Olive Oil. Herbal, mineral, peppery and bright, it smells exactly like the beloved herb dip & olive oil.

The Memory
This candle is made in loving memory of my beloved Yemma. She always smelled of our farm’s olive oil and used it for everything; from moisturizer to stomach ailment relief, she even used it to treat my eczema. My favorite memory of her is when she taught me how to cook; especially when we made fresh baked Mana’eesh together with her favorite olive oil and zataar.

Ingredients:

  • 100% Natural Soy & Coconut Wax.
  • 100% Single Origin, Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
  • Pure Herbal Essential Oils & Premium Fragrance Oils.
  • 100% lead-free cotton wick  (5.7 oz) or natural crackling wooden wick (8.5 oz). 
  • Reusable gold hued glass jar with natural bamboo lid (5.7 oz) or clear elegant heavy-bottomed glass jar with glass lid (8.5 oz). 

Burn time:

  • 8.5 oz: up to 50 hours
  • 5.7 oz: up to 30 hours

 

The 8.5 oz size is perfect for bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens.

The 5.7 oz size is perfect for smaller spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, nooks..etc.

Candle Care information

Please make sure to follow these to help you achieve the best possible life and cleanest burn out of your candle:

  • Keep wick upright and trimmed to ¼” before each lighting of your candle (our wick trimmers are perfect for this). Trimming before every burn is crucial & will help ensure minimal sooting/smoking & an even clean burn.
  • At each burn cycle, be sure to allow the melt pool (liquified wax) to reach the full diameter of the candle jar before extinguishing to prevent tunneling & wasted wax on subsequent burns. Wax has a memory, the melt pool will generally only reach the same diameter it had on the last burn.
  • Always burn within site & keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire & place on temperature safe surface to avoid heat damage.
  • Keep away from drafts. 
  • Discontinue use when ¼’’ of wax remains, this will preserve your jar from heat damage.
  • To reuse our beautiful jars, simply clean it by first freezing the last bit of wax that remains and sliding it right off with a spoon. Any remaining wax residue can be easily removed with hot water. 
  • Please do not scrub or scratch the jar as this may cause damage to the color coating of the glass.
